Discovering Sri Lanka

You will be able to visit Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kingdom, enjoying its climate, its art and traditions, the wonderful botanical garden and the famous temple of Buddha's Tooth, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Buddhist world.

You will travel by train to the mountains, meandering among traditional tea plantations and enjoying excursions among the valleys and lakes of the area.

You will be able to complete the experience in the south of Sri Lanka, staying at the exclusive Aman properties on the island: Amangalla and Amanwella.

Southern Sri Lanka has some of the best beaches in the Indian Ocean as well as an interesting Portuguese and Dutch colonial legacy. Apart from the beaches, the most interesting place is probably Galle, with its incredible fort and old town, as well as the tea, cinnamon and pepper plantations.

In addition, in the south of Sri Lanka you will have the possibility of visiting temples, diving, or even sailing in search of dolphins and whales.
