A magical time with Santa Klaus

One day when getting out of the shower, Pol and Cai saw an unintelligible message in the scrim mirror that signed “Santa Claus”. On another occasion, our mobile phone showed, as if by magic, images of arctic, snowy landscapes that we had never seen before.
Finally, on Thursday, November 24, when I was about to start another day, I found some plane tickets on the dining room table with departure that same day, just a few hours later.We woke up Pol and Cai and then the most unexpected thing happened: the television turned on and Santa Claus appeared on the screen inviting us to visit him in his secret refuge in Finnish Lapland.

We quickly packed our bags and headed for the airport.The hours of flight passed quickly as a result of excitement, Santa Claus had invited us to meet him personally at his house, could there be anything more exciting?

Upon our arrival, Eerik was waiting for us with his perennial smile and with a vehicle perfectly prepared for the adverse weather conditions.

Santa Claus had prepared a chalet for us with all imaginable comforts and a succulent dinner was the best welcome. After that, we needed to rest in our comfortable beds, while the outside temperature plummeted to -15 ºC.
After a restful rest, we prepare to have breakfast in the comfort of our new arctic house. At the end, we find ourselves with perfectly prepared thermal clothing of our size: mittens, boots and a technical suit to enjoy the experience without getting cold despite the freezing temperatures.

Without knowing what to expect, Eerik took us to a reindeer and husky farm, where we got to meet them, play with them, and finally explore the frozen forests by sledding with them.
Ville, a professional photographer, also joined this adventure, capturing every moment of happiness, turning them into graphic documents to remember. We only care about enjoying every moment and at the end we had the best pictures imaginable, Santa Claus is in everything!

After a comforting lentil soup in a warm shelter, Eerik tells us that Santa Claus is ready to receive us, the time has come!

In a few minutes we are at the entrance of a magical world, two amusing elves receive us and accompany us through the entire Santa Claus village. We cook gingerbread cookies, we visit the elf school as well as the magic rock.

Finally, we can enter Santa's secret cabin.

There we are received by the most magical and legendary character of Christmas. Pol and Cai can't quite believe where they are. Santa Claus knows everything about them, their friends, teachers, hobbies...Finally, he lets them ask what they want and answers each and every one of their questions, but not before indicating that they are secrets that they cannot reveal to anyone.

We would have stayed with him all afternoon and into the night, but it is time to hug him and leave, since he is a very busy person and must continue with all his chores.Still pinching ourselves to make sure that what we have just experienced has not been a dream, we return to rest and assimilate everything that has happened.

The adventure continued as before heading home we had time to go sledding, snowmobile, ice fish and have lunch around a campfire with the most magical views imaginable.

It has been a few days that we will never forget and a great reminder that magic exists!!
