Terre Blanche Golf Club is one of the world’s most prestigious destinations for golf lovers, voted the Best Golf Course in France 2017. Architect Dave Thomas has skilfully capitalised on the existing contours and natural features of this magnificent site. His trademark jagged-edge bunkers feature on the two 18-hole courses: Le Château and Le Riou. This true golfers’ paradise is set in stunning surroundings and brings together performance and love for the game.
Le Château is a demanding 6,616 metre 18-hole course offering an exciting challenge for ambitious golfers. The bunkers, greens and flag positions give a true taste of the game at a Championship Course. It rewards the precision and length of stroke of the best players. There are many spectacular water hazards.
Set on a hillside overlooking the hilltop villages of the Pays de Fayence, Le Riou is a technical 18-hole, 6,005 metre-long golf course which rewards strategy and precision. This course is exclusively open to Club Members, their guests and hotel guests. Every year it hosts the 1st stage of the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS): Terre Blanche Ladies Open.
Terre Blanche also features an exceptional training centre: the Albatros Golf Performance Center, the only one of its kind in Europe. It comprises a two storey driving range, a Golf Academy and the Biomecaswing golf biomechanics centre. The centre is perfectly suited to players of all levels; beginners can learn to play golf here whilst more experienced players can optimise their swing. The Golf Academy is open throughout the year and offers a wide range of courses relating to all aspects of the game.
