A day to discover some of the most important places in the life and work of Salvador Dalí. To understand a little better the work of one of the great geniuses of the 20th century, you have to delve into his landscapes, his surroundings and immerse yourself in his fascinating world: an experience that will not disappoint you.
You will visit Figueres, an hour and a half from Barcelona, the artist's hometown and the place where the Teatre Museu Dalí is located. Strolling through the streets of the old town of Figueres and you will be able to see first hand how his childhood was.
You will enter the artist's world when visiting the Teatre Museu Dalí and you will be able to eat in one of the restaurants that he frequented himself. You will spend the afternoon visiting Cadaqués and Portlligat, his place of residence and the shelter where Dalí and Gala received all their guests during the summer.
To make the most of this day, you might want to visit the Púbol castle, a medieval castle that Salvador Dalí bought and rebuilt for his wife Gala. It was the place where they spent their last years.
