Located in the Meru National Park, Elsa's Kopje is the best setting in Kenya for observing rhinoceroses in their natural habitat.
Meaning "the little hill of Elsa", the name of the lodge comes from a little orphaned lioness once reared near here by the great naturalist George Adamson, locally known as Baba ya Simba, or Father of the Lions.
This is the only working lodge in the Meru National Park, an expansive region of baobabs, rivers and numerous species and wild habitats.
