Mallorca is so close to Barcelona that sometimes we don’t even pay attention to it. However, the largest of the Balearic Islands offers unique and exclusive experiences that will certainly surprise you.
On my last visit to Mallorca I stayed at Sir Richard Branson's property, Son Bunyola, a private accommodation in the Tramuntana mountain range with incredible views over the sea.
The property offers three villas that can be rented separately: Sa Terra Rotja, Sa Punta de S'Aguila and Son Balagueret. Each of the villas has its own style, history and character, featuring spacious rooms, and two of them also have a private pool.
As in all Sir Richard Branson’s properties, service is excellent, professional and friendly at the same time, so it’s very easy to feel at home.
The secret to enjoying Mallorca at its best is to get in touch with amazing specialists who know the island like the back of their hand, and who will help you get away from the crowds and live unforgettable experiences.
In my last visit I especially enjoyed several gastronomic activities that allowed me to discover new projects created around the local Mediterranean ingredients, such as a surprising olive oil tasting in a farm with ancient olive trees full of history.
As in the rest of the Balearic Islands, bathed by the Mediterranean, the beaches of Mallorca are spectacular. But the island can also boast about its charming little towns, such as Valldemosa, and the beautiful mountain scenery of the Tramuntana mountain range. There, you can enjoy hiking and all kinds of active sports.
In addition to staying in a private villa like Son Bunyola, in Mallorca you can also stay in stylish and charming boutique hotels, ideal for a short getaway.
Mallorca is undoubtedly a destination to discover!
