Traveling back to Paris is like coming home. This is why I believe that Paris is a city that everyone should revisit every 3 or 4 years.
It all begins with the invigorating feeling that invades you when you reach the city, the moment you start to see the immortal beauty of the City of Lights from the taxi. And it’s a well-deserved name indeed: it’s this feeling of light, splendour, energy from the past that still vibrates in every corner of the city, that makes you feel like a king.
I guess that Paris is such a special city because of a curious mixture: architecture for all tastes, refined and world-renowned gastronomy, fashion and glamour, universal theatre… A mixture that results in what the French so aptly call grandeur.
My last visit to Paris was sensational: I felt the glamour of the Champs Élysées, decorated with the Christmas Market, I admired the ocher and orange trees, saw the leaves falling under a pleasant autumn sun in Place des Vosges, in the heart of the Marais district, I had the honour to taste the delicious culinary works-of-art of the renowned chef of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school and enjoyed a relaxing candle-lit bath with a glass of champagne in my room.
One thing is clear to me. Each time I visit this city I feel more connected to it. Because no matter the purpose of your trip, Paris always goes beyond to satisfy your desires. Everything is possible there!
The experiences you live in Paris may be very different, but I’m sure you’ll always get the same feeling: the desire to return.
