Belmond Eagle Island Lodge enjoys a privileged position on a private island at the heart of the Okavango Delta. The only inland delta of its kind, it's an oasis of life in the centre of the Kalahari Desert.

Each of the 12 spacious Deluxe Tented Rooms boasts its own plunge pool. A private deck provides the perfect space to soak up the scenery. Flooded with daylight, the interior décor is elegant and light. The centrepiece of every tented room is an oversized bed with views of the delta. In-room amenities include a deep day bed, large desk, fully-stocked mini bar and discreet air conditioning. An en-suite bathroom features a walled outdoor shower with a window looking onto the delta, a large indoor bathtub and walk-in wardrobe.

The Okavango Delta stretches over 16,000 km² and supports a staggering variety of animal, plant, fish and birdlife. The area consists of endlessly changing channels, tributaries and lagoons as well as floodplains, islands and mainland areas. Helicopter safaris provide a birds-eye view of this magnificent landscape.
